fallfree
Mythic Child
Oh Mythic Child who, Athena-like
Sprang full-formed
From fractured mind
Without wisdom or battle plan
And as for hope,
She has none,
Gives none,
Is none
She is alone.
Oh Mythic One
Nurtured and starved by my will
Slinking and shrinking
And never sleeping,
Last and lost, where do you hide?
Around, about, and by,
But never here.
My Mythic Child,
Why turn your stormy gaze away,
But send your floods to drown me?
Your tow rope shudders
As fracture give way to gallows
I am afraid.
